About

I design tools and experiences that help people create, remember, and interact more intentionally.

Zhenyue in a snowy forest

Hi, I'm Joy (Zhenyue), an interaction designer and UX researcher currently studying at the University of Washington. My work sits between research, product thinking, and emerging interaction, often exploring how technology can better support creativity and everyday rituals.

I'm especially interested in creative tools, music experiences, and interfaces that feel intuitive enough to disappear into the act of creating.
